Perhaps, by coincidence or destiny, he meets her.

She is beautiful.

The scenery freezes, right then and there, and the silence is almost overpowering. There are her footsteps, and that is the only thing that made up his world. The doves stop in mid-flight. Nothing is moving, nothing is important, except for him and her in that special moment.

She holds out her hand, and Roxas almost stops breathing. If he touches her, would she break? Would the dream end? He can’t seem find the words to say.

She knows his name. She says it, softly, lovingly, and Roxas thinks, I wish time would stay like this forever.

He doesn’t have the chance to ask hers, because all of the sudden she’s walking away, and Roxas can’t ask her to stop. She’s disappearing from his field of vision, and he’s still in a trance-like state, unable to do anything.

The noise comes back once she’s gone; the frozen doves scatter in the air, soaring in flight, moving in a swift motion.

Roxas thinks time is catching up, and suddenly everything about the girl starts slipping away from his memories, as if they were being erased.

Will I ever see you again?
